Terms of Service
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Forge ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Forge is a software platform that helps trades businesses manage customers, quotes, jobs, messages, and follow-ups, including AI-generated communications sent on your behalf.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, keeping your password secure, and all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Free trial and subscriptions
New workspaces include a 14-day free trial. After the trial ends, your paid subscription begins automatically at the plan you selected. Subscriptions renew each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your Billing settings; cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the current period.
Fees and payment
Fees are shown on the Pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees when due. Prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise. Taxes may apply based on your location.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use Forge to send unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or spam communications; (b) violate anti-spam laws such as Canada's CASL or the US TCPA / CAN-SPAM; (c) interfere with the Service or attempt to access it without authorization; (d) reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you send through Forge and for having appropriate consent from your recipients.
Your data
You retain all rights to the content you put into Forge ("Customer Data"). You grant Forge a limited license to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
AI-generated content
Forge uses artificial intelligence to draft messages and suggestions. AI output can contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated messages before they are sent, and for the final content sent from your workspace.
Third-party services
Forge integrates with third-party services (e.g. Stripe, Google, Microsoft, Twilio, AI providers). Your use of those services is governed by their terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail to pay, or pose a risk to the Service or other users. You may cancel your subscription at any time from Billing settings.
Cancellation, account deletion and data retention
Cancelling your subscription is not the same as deleting your account. When you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period; after that your subscription becomes inactive. Your workspace data is normally retained for up to 90 days after paid access ends so you can reactivate and restore your account. If you reactivate within that period, your existing data is restored. After 90 days, information that no longer needs to be retained is permanently deleted or anonymized.
You can delete your account and data sooner at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account & Data, or by emailing notifications@forgeapp.ca. Deletion is permanent, requires explicit confirmation, cancels any active subscription, and cannot be reversed once the deletion process is complete. Some records may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute or security obligations; access to those records is restricted and we keep only what is required. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Forge does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forge's total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Forge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
